Our volunteers have spent years entering prisons in Baja California, Oaxaca, and the United States to share encouragement, resources, and the message of hope. Explore the stories, progress, and opportunities below, and discover how you can join this important work.

Inside the historic La Mesa prison, our volunteers step through the gates every week to meet men who are eager for hope and connection. With each visit, we bring essential goods, an encouraging word, and prayer—simple acts that open doors to meaningful relationships and remind those inside that they have not been forgotten.

At El Hongo, a high-security prison set in the hills of Tecate, our volunteers make weekly visits to bring compassion and consistency to those inside. We deliver needed goods, offer encouragement, and pray with individuals who are longing to be seen and heard. Each visit strengthens trust and reminds them that restoration is possible.

Oaxaca, MX

Across the state of Oaxaca, our volunteers enter the prisons of Etla, Cuicatlán, and Miahuatlán to meet men who face unique challenges in each facility. Whether in the more accessible Etla prison or the remote hills of Cuicatlán and Miahuatlán, our team brings essential goods, shares meaningful conversations, and offers prayer to those who desire it. These visits create moments of encouragement, build trust, and remind the men inside that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten—no matter how far their circumstances may seem from hope.

At Donovan State Prison, our volunteers have recently launched a growing Spanish ministry to serve the many men who long to hear encouragement in their heart language. Each week, we enter the facility to share a message of hope, offer conversation rooted in dignity and respect, and pray with those seeking spiritual support. This new ministry has opened doors to deeper connection, allowing us to meet men where they are and walk with them as they pursue hope and transformation.
